Our Parish Religious Education Program is committed to the religious education of children and parents as taught by Jesus Christ. We assist parents as their child’s first teacher, nourish their faith, and prepare children for the reception of the sacraments in accordance with our Church teachings.

Religious Education is a life-long journey which comes to fulfillment when we are united with the Trinity in heaven... This is our faith. This is the faith of the church. We are proud to profess it in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Liturgy is the “source and summit” of our faith life. Full and active participation is a “right and duty.” The Mass is where we become the Church, the Body of Christ, the Communion of Saints!

Students enrolled in the PREP program for one full year or more may participate in CYO sports. CYO enables the partnership of parents, coaches, priests, religious, teachers, and adult leaders to manage and support a sports program that allows youth to grow in their relationship with God and come to better understand themselves and the Catholic faith.
If your child is not a student at SPN or registered in a PREP program, they are not eligible to participate in CYO sports at St. Philip Neri.

Volleyball Registration Is Now Open!
Over the past few years, volleyball has exploded in popularity, and we’re excited to offer another great season for our parishioners . Volleyball is a fantastic way for girls to stay active, build confidence, develop teamwork and leadership skills, and make lasting friendships.
We are especially fortunate to be part of one of the most competitive volleyball regions in the area. Our program has a strong tradition of developing players, and many of our athletes have gone on to compete successfully in highly competitive high school programs.
Our program includes:
● Varsity: 7th and 8th Grade
● Junior Varsity: 5th and 6th Grade
We especially encourage our 5th and 6th grade families to consider giving volleyball a try. We know this age comes with busy schedules, and many girls are involved in multiple sports and activities. Our goal is simply to get them started in the game, build their skills, and help them discover how much fun volleyball can be. Therefore, the schedule is especially flexible to other commitments.
Important Dates:
● Registration is now open and will close in late August.
● Varsity evaluations will take place in mid-August.
● JV practices will begin in late August.
Whether your daughter is new to volleyball or has years of experience, we encourage her to join us. Our coaches are committed to providing a positive, challenging, and fun environment where every player can continue to grow.
We look forward to another exciting season and hope to see many new and returning players on the court
PREP Class, Special Liturgies, and Social Events will be updated throughout the year.
